Situation:

A siloed, non-integrated, non-aligned group of HR people. This conflicted with, and was an impediment to, the business strategy of a globally consistent and integrated provider of services to key clients.


Action:

Worked with business leaders and HR in a structured, inclusive, transparent manner and based on organizational needs. Agreed performance measures for HR and built a team to deliver on this.


Results:

  • By partnering with business leaders to revolutionize the role of HR, I was able to raise the capability and commercial impact of HR to be true value drivers in the business.
  • Built a depth of capability within HR that was able to manage and sustain the growth of the organization.
